Growing up, I was always a dramatic and now, some 15 years later, I found a medium to pour that into through creative performance and productions. Fortunately for me, my family could afford to give me opportunities for learning and exploring my passions. Not all creative minds are lucky enough to have access to said experiences. Austin has a unique program that allows kids from all backgrounds to participate and gain knowledge in their chosen field. I first joined Summer Stock in 8th grade as a spot operator and I learned so much about adaptability and collaboration. By supporting this program, you are helping Summer Stock provide so many kids a chance to succeed.
