After a difficult pregnancy, Hudson was born via emergency c-section at 28 weeks. He was the tiniest baby we've ever seen, but he brought so much joy to our lives. Hudson spent six weeks in the NICU, and died very suddenly after fighting an infection.
Hudson's life has allowed us to re-evaluate our own lives and focus on what is really important to us. He gave us the motivation and courage to change what we needed to in order to provide the best life possible for his little brother. Everything we do in our lives is somehow motivated by Hudson.
We love celebrating Hudson's birthday each year. Sometimes we take a family trip, and other years we celebrate at home with cake and a fancy dinner. We love telling our living son about Hudson and have really enjoyed watching him get to know his brother who lives in heaven.
We find little ways to honor Hudson throughout the year including remembrance walks, participating in HOPEtober and giving back to RTZ when we can. Doing things in honor of Hudson is such a special way for us to not only remember him, but to also help others who have experienced loss know they are not alone.
