Hi! My name is Bri (Brielle for those of you who knew me as a non-rower🤣) Renzulli. As I'm sure most of you know by now, after overcoming 3 rounds of surgeries from lacrosse, rowing has practically taken over my life. I have absolutely fallen in love with the sport and I wouldn't want it any other way! I want to start by saying THANK YOU to my friends and family for their continuous support to help make my dreams come true!!!
City Island Rowing has given me my best friends, and has taught me true discipline and athleticism. I don’t know what I would do without the early mornings before school watching the sunrise while doing what I love most. I will be continuing my rowing journey at University of Southern California where I will take everything I have learned at CIR and build upon it to become a better athlete and person.
IT'S TIME FOR THE ERGATHON AGAIN!!!
On Sunday March 2nd we will hold our annual capital equipment fundraiser to pay for all the equipment that we use. My teammates and I will be investing our sweat equity. As a thank you for the generous support we are given each year, we complete a grueling 90-minute endurance piece on the indoor rowing machine ("the erg").
We have state-of-the-art equipment at CIR, including the stunning Hudson USP (pictured below) that I raced at Royal Canadian Henley just this past summer. THANKS TO YOU, we are so lucky to have the boats, oars, and electronics that we need and/or desire!!
My team and I are SO grateful for your support... especially if you have supported us before! We could not do this without you!
