Hi there! My name is Ciara Andrews, I am a sophomore at Bronxville High School. I will be telling you why you should donate to our annual fundraiser called the "Ergathon" !
At CIR, we are so much more than just a team. We are a sisterhood of strong, determined athletes pushing the limits of what’s possible on the water. As an all-female rowing club, we allow young women to grow as athletes, leaders, and individuals in a sport that demands discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
Rowing is so much more than just competition. Our incredible team is built on passion, dedication, and the belief that every young woman deserves the chance to challenge herself and achieve greatness. I am so proud of our team and what I have personal gained by being part of it!!
But we can't do it alone. On March 3rd, my teammates and I will be doing 60- 90-minute grueling pieces on the erg (the rowing machine). To raise funds for a new dock, we will purchase some beautiful new Hudson boats. Your support can make a real difference. Every contribution helps fuel our success and keeps our team moving forward.
