The Wisconsin PGA is turning 100 years old. 100 holes celebrating 100 years by 100 WPGA Professionals raising funds to change lives! My goal is to raise $4,000. Any help in reaching my goal is appreciated!
50% of the funds I raise will go to support PGA REACH Wisconsin and 50% will go to support the No Worries None - Marleh Lehmann Scholarship Foundation.
This foundation in honor of Marleh will award scholarships to college-bound high school students based on how they embody the characteristics and qualities that Marleh possesses. Additionally, consideration will be given to students who have displayed a positive impact in their communities and are financially in need. Who is Marleh? - She is an inspiration that shows life is too short to have any worries because the moment you are in right now, is the only one you know you have for sure, so make it count. She was taken from this life by a wrong way driver at the age of 20.
I have been extremely fortunate to have been a part of the WPGA since 1987 and have been the the President of the Association, been on the Junior Foundation Board and now currently on the National PGA Board as the District 6 Director. I have seen first-hand the impact PGA REACH Wisconsin has on the development of youth throughout Wisconsin as people and as golfers. The WPGA junior golf events have grown immensely over the years. Our junior golf program started with 3 events in 1986 to now over 140 per year. Our scholarship program began with a single $1,000 scholarship and will provide over $50,000 in 2022. PGA HOPE - the free program introducing golf to veterans continues to grow. I hosted my 2nd year of classes having 10 Veterans enjoy 7 weeks of FREE lessons and 1 9 hole round of golf. I currently sit on the National PGA HOPE Committee!
