"Fashion Photographer"
New Milford is no stranger to food insecurity, and the New Milford Food Bank is one of the resources available to residents. The Food Bank relies solely on donations of food and funds, and we are excited to support them! Participants choose from fresh, frozen, and nutritious food items, as well as shelf-stable canned and boxed goods. They host a weekly food program for local residents.

I worked on this with friends, Joy and Andrea, and we had great fun creating our "Fashion Photographer." The idea stemmed from a huge collection of old slides I had, which I sorted through over those long Covid winters...there were so many I just knew they were destined for something!
Each slide was drilled on all corners, stitched together in rows and finally to wide elastic. Of course, the outfit needed accessories, so we concocted a film canister bracelet and a fascinator headpiece, made of a mesh onion bag and 35mm film. The old camera is held up with a thin strip of film.
