Join me as I take steps to socialize cats at my local animal shelter, The Animal Welfare Association of New Jersey (AWANJ)! While I help these beautiful cats at AWANJ, I'll also be fundraising for The Street Dog Coalition through my fundraising page. This way, I can raise awareness about AWANJ in addition to the work that The Street Dog Coalition does.
The ultimate goal is to help as many cats as possible become comfortable around people before finding their forever homes by December 2024 while fundraising for The Street Dog Coalition's mission to provide free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing homelessness via pop-up street clinics in over 60 cities nationwide. This mission resonates with me because I believe in the power of compassion and community to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable animals and their human companions.
