You can help protect pets and people in your community by joining me and other people across the nation in The Street Dog Coalition’s Step Challenge. The Street Dog Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides essential veterinary care for companion animals and coordinates care for their unhoused human parents.
Unhoused people rescue pets from abuse and will feed their pets before feeding themselves. These are two things I learned from working with Street Dog Coalition and other organizations that provide free veterinary care to pets of unhoused people. This resonates with me as I adopted two Alaskan Malamute dogs that were rescued from abuse.
You can make a difference to help ensure that pets of unhoused people get essential veterinary care, and their owners receive resources to support their health. Any amount you give—$1, $10, $20, $100, or $1000+ helps The Street Dog Coalition continue providing care for pets and the unhoused people who care for them. Thank you so much for your support!
