The Street Dog Coalition’s mission is to provide free veterinary care and related services to pets of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. There is a significant need for this mission and it is one in which I am deeply passionate. I have pledged for this month of October to take steps for a change which includes a personal goal of walking 60 miles. The Street Dog Coalition Step Challenge coincides with National Animal Safety and Protection Month. This is your chance to walk, run, or take steps toward a more compassionate world for our unhoused neighbors and their beloved pets. Your involvement will create a ripple effect of kindness and support, showing that we care for both the pets and their guardians.
