My name is Ashley Kromer, and I'm passionate about all things outdoors, plants, farming and community-building. For me, art is a conscious practice of creativity to express my thoughts and feelings about things that are important to me. I typically draw/ sketch and then paint in my drawings. I have never been to Monhegan Island but I am super excited for the opportunity to bask in its natural beauty, history and culture.

I am most excited to be on a retreat that allows me to fully immerse myself into living in the moment to be inspired and create without my typical everyday distractions. I also look forward to being guided by a professional artist and connecting with other women. (And to visit a place without any cars!!)
