Hello, my name is Thomas Fairchild. I am from Richmond, Kentucky, and I am the Social Media/Public Relations Coordinator for Bike4Alz Team 13. I am an undergraduate student at Western Kentucky University double majoring in Advertising and Communications. I am a member of Phi Gamma Delta and my relationship with this organization led me to discover Bike4Alz. I immediately knew that I wanted to apply and do what I could to help end Alzheimer's.

I have seen firsthand how Alzheimer’s affects people and their loved ones. The man that I was named after (my great grandfather) had Alzheimer’s and I have volunteered at various nursing homes where I have seen this disease firsthand. It is a pressing issue, and I promise that I will do all I can to help end Alzheimer’s. The recent death of my grandfather this past August has motivated me to continue to make him proud. I remember telling him about Bike4Alz and that I was interested in being a part of this organization. His eyes lit up immediately and I will never forget that moment. I believe that with our combined efforts we can continue to raise awareness and money for this cause. Your donation whether it be big or small will not go unnoticed.
