Which came first, the knit chicken or the knit egg...?
This year to feather our collective nest, I'll be donating Cornhenlia, a huggable & lovable, hand-knit "Emotional Support Chicken," to one of my gracious & lucky donors of $50 or more. She is valued at over $200, given her one-of-a-kind materials, over twelve hours of knitting, hand sewing assembly time, and love.
For each $50 increment you donate to my team, "Knittin' on a Chicken," I'll treat you to one virtual raffle ticket to woo Cornhenlia over to your homestead.
The raffle will take place a bit after 10pm Eastern time on 4/5/25 when the Knitathon officially roosts up for the night.
UPDATE: I will wait until Monday 4/7 when all funds from the weekend are tallied... you still have time to donate and win this most special knit hen! STAY TUNED!
No matter your donation amount, every dollar will go toward feeding people. $1 has historically been able to provide for up to 10 meals for many of these nation-wide organizations.
Thank you so very much for supporting this worthy cause!
