Participating in the 5th (and my 3rd) Knit for Food because I love knitters coming together to raise funds for a cause that is united and a need that is universal.
In a world where you can be anything, be kind. I am thrilled to join the grassroots Knit for Food make-a-thon again this year. Led by knitwear designer Laura Nelkin, this volunteer run event is impactful and inspiring. I encourage my fellow knitters (and makers of all crafts) to join individually or support me directly through “Team Knit Kind”. 100% of all donations to individual and team pages are passed through in equal amounts to Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, No Kid Hungry, and World Central Kitchen through a transparent process. Please reach out with any questions. Thank you for your investment to alleviate food insecurity in our communities!
