Raised in the vibrant environment of Durham, NC, and currently splitting her time between Raleigh and Austin, Suhailah combines personal experience with thoughtful strategy in her work with nonprofits across the country. Her fundraising journey started early with organizing bake sales and donation drives for her school and local mosque. That initial spark led to a career focused on equity, care, and tech-savvy strategy, earning her the 2020 Emerging Leader Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

With more than ten years of experience, Suhailah specializes in creating individual giving programs that are both community-centered and data-informed. She works on designing donor journeys, establishing recurring giving systems, optimizing CRM workflows, and launching urgent digital campaigns. Her efforts blend smart tech systems with liberating fundraising practices, creating frameworks that uplift communities, respect lived experiences, and direct resources toward collective healing and transformation.
