The Spread Mr. Butter Plushie Giveaway Terms & Conditions

Overview

To celebrate The Spread, Givebutter is giving away 50 Mr. Butter plushies to eligible changemakers who register for The Spread and share their excitement on Instagram.

The first 50 eligible participants who successfully complete all entry requirements during the Giveaway Period will receive one Mr. Butter plushie, subject to these Terms & Conditions.

Giveaway Period

Start Date: September 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM PT

End Date: October 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT

The giveaway may end earlier if 50 eligible participants complete all entry requirements and all available plushies have been claimed.

How to Enter

To qualify, participants must complete all three of the following steps during the Giveaway Period:

1. Register for The Spread using the official event registration page.
2. Follow @Givebutter on Instagram.
3. Share a photo or selfie featuring your The Spread mailer to your Instagram Story, tag @Givebutter, and let your community know you’ll be attending The Spread.

Participants must complete all three requirements during the Giveaway Period to be eligible.

Eligibility

Open to U.S. residents 18+ who received a The Spread mailer. To qualify:

1. register for The Spread via QR code
2. follow @Givebutter on Instagram
3. share a photo of your mailer to your Instagram Story and tag @Givebutter.

The first 50 eligible participants to complete all steps between September 1 and October 1, 2026 will receive one Mr. Butter plushie. Limit one per person. Not sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Sponsor: Givebutter, Inc.

Recipient Determination & Notification

• The first 50 eligible participants who complete and can be verified as having completed all entry requirements will receive one Mr. Butter plushie.
• Eligibility will be determined based on the time Givebutter is able to verify completion of all required steps. 
• Givebutter will contact eligible recipients via Instagram direct message and/or the email address used to register for The Spread.
• Recipients may be required to provide a valid U.S. mailing address and any other information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and fulfill the prize.
• If Givebutter does not receive the requested information from a recipient within 7 days of outreach, the recipient may forfeit the plushie and Givebutter may offer it to the next eligible participant.
• Completing the entry requirements does not guarantee receipt of a plushie if all 50 available plushies have already been claimed.

Prize

A total of 50 Mr. Butter plushies are available.

Plushies are non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and no substitution will be provided except at Givebutter’s discretion if necessary.

Limitations

• Limit one qualifying entry per person.
• Duplicate Instagram Stories or registrations do not create additional entries or improve eligibility.
• Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, automated, spammy, misleading, inappropriate, or otherwise fail to satisfy these Terms & Conditions may be disqualified.
• Givebutter reserves the right to verify that all entry requirements have been completed before awarding a plushie.
• Givebutter is not responsible for Instagram Stories or tags that cannot be viewed or verified because of privacy settings, technical errors, deletion, expiration, incorrect tagging, or other circumstances outside Givebutter’s reasonable control.

General Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions and Givebutter’s Privacy Policy.

Givebutter reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate these Terms & Conditions or attempt to interfere with the fair operation of the giveaway.

Givebutter reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, platform disruptions, or other circumstances beyond Givebutter’s reasonable control materially affect its administration.

Givebutter is not responsible for delays, incorrect mailing information, delivery issues, or lost, stolen, damaged, or misdirected shipments outside Givebutter’s reasonable control.

Privacy

Information collected in connection with this giveaway will be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, fulfill prizes, and otherwise handled in accordance with Givebutter’s Privacy Policy.
