How it worked
Set up a free Givebutter account
In order to participate, nonprofits needed to set up a free Givebutter account, verify their organization, and choose how they wanted to fundraise on Giving Tuesday. They could create a donation form, fundraising page, fundraising event, auction, or embed a donate button directly on their website.
Nonprofits submitted their campaigns by November 27
Participating nonprofits could start accepting donations on or leading up to Giving Tuesday, but they must have raised at least $500 on Giving Tuesday and submitted their applications by 11:59 PM PST on November 27 to be considered for a donation from Givebutter.
