Enable Givebutter Wallet 💸

Set up Givebutter Wallet as your primary payout method. All settled donations land in Wallet automatically each day, earning 2.5% APY rewards while you fundraise.

Spread the word 📣

Create or update your campaign, like a Givebutter donation form or fundraising page, with a recurring donation option. Then, from May 11-15, encourage supporters to start a monthly gift.

For every new donor who starts a new monthly gift of $5 or more during that week, your nonprofit will automatically receive $10 in your Givebutter Wallet. Funds will be deposited starting May 21.

  1. To qualify, organizations must hold a verified nonprofit account on Givebutter and have Givebutter Wallet enabled as the primary payout method before 11:59 PM ET on May 20, 2026.
  2. Only new recurring monthly donations of $5 or more processed through Givebutter during May 11 at 12:00 AM ET through May 15 at 11:59 PM ET will count toward the match. Existing recurring donors with an active subscription do not qualify.
  3. For every new monthly recurring donation of $5 or more received during the activation window, Givebutter deposits $10 into the organization's Givebutter Wallet.
  4. Total matching funds are capped at $25,000 across all participating organizations and are distributed first-come, first-served basis.
  5. If total payouts reach the $25,000 campaign budget, Givebutter will apply a $500 maximum per organization. Any funds that would have exceeded individual organization limits will be redistributed among eligible participants. Organizations will be notified if this threshold is triggered.
  6. Funds will be deposited into Givebutter Wallets starting May 21, 2026.

Any verified nonprofit on Givebutter can participate, including both existing users and organizations signing up for the first time. To qualify, your organization must also have Givebutter Wallet enabled as your primary payout method.

Any new recurring (monthly) donation of $5 or more processed through your Givebutter account between May 11 and May 15, 2026 qualifies. Existing recurring donors with an active subscription do not count.

For every new monthly donation of $5 or more received during the week, Givebutter deposits $10 into your organization’s Givebutter Wallet. Funds begin depositing May 21.

Total funding is limited to $25K across all participating organizations and is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. If the full amount is reached, a $500 maximum per organization may be applied.

Otherwise, there is no fixed cap on how much an individual organization can earn.

No. Any new recurring donations received on any of your existing Givebutter campaigns during the activation window will count. We recommend featuring your recurring giving ask prominently during the week to make the most of the opportunity.

Givebutter lets donors opt into automatic monthly, quarterly, or annual giving directly from any fundraising page or donation form. Donors can manage their plans anytime through a self-service portal.

You can enable recurring giving on any Givebutter donation form or fundraising page in just a few steps. Simply turn on the recurring option when setting up your campaign, and donors will be able to choose a monthly gift at checkout.
