FAQs about our number generator

A random number picker wheel is a simple tool that randomly selects a number by spinning a wheel. Instead of drawing slips of paper or scrolling through a list, you set the numbers you want, spin the wheel, and let it choose for you. It’s especially helpful when you want the process to feel fair, transparent, and easy to explain to others, such as during a raffle, giveaway, or classroom activity.

Start by setting a minimum and maximum number. The wheel includes every number in that range, unless you choose to skip numbers using the interval or exclude specific ones. When you spin, the wheel randomly selects a number. If you don’t want repeats, turn on Elimination Mode to automatically remove selected numbers. You can keep spinning for additional results without resetting your setup, which makes it especially useful for raffles or multiple draws.

Many of our customers use this wheel of numbers alongside our free online raffle platform for fundraising raffles, prize draws, and event giveaways. But it’s flexible. You can use it anytime you need a random choice: picking a winner, calling on students, choosing a task order, or even settling small group decisions. If you normally “pick a number out of a hat,” this just does the same thing faster and without mistakes.

Yes! If you want each number to be picked only once, turn on Elimination Mode. After a number is selected, it’s automatically removed from the wheel. This works well for raffles with multiple prizes or for situations where everyone should be chosen only once. You don’t have to track anything manually; the wheel keeps it clean for you.

Start by setting your ticket range (for example, 1 to 300). If you have invalid or unused tickets, add them to the exclude field before you spin. When you’re drawing multiple winners, Elimination Mode helps ensure no ticket wins twice. The result is easy to show and explain, which helps people trust the outcome.

Yes! The wheel uses a random number generator, so every number has an equal chance of being drawn. The spinning animation is just visual; it doesn’t affect the result. If fairness matters (and in raffles, it usually does), this gives you a clear, unbiased way to make a choice.

On desktop or tablet, you can use up to 1,000 numbers. On mobile, the limit is 500. These limits keep the wheel readable and responsive.
